Triumph Gran Course with DA AX, Superbe Pro, Campagnolo, the works! - $950

EXTREMELY RARE and near-mint Triumph Gran Course.
The absolute finest they ever made. 57cm top tube c-t-c, 58cm seat tube c-t-c. Reynolds 531c steel tubing, Prugnat S4 windowed lugs, shot-in seatstays (amazing!), immaculately filed and brazed. Reynolds 531c fork with Vitus Arcor internal crown. Original paint is close to perfect. Stunning Pearl Blue to Deep Navy fade. All decals are intact and nearly perfect. Gipiemme forged chromed dropouts.

Shimano Dura Ace AX crankset with adaptors. Dura Ace AX aero pedals with Ale clips. Dura Ace AX Front Derailleur. Campagnolo headset (looks like Nuovo Record) and Campagnolo Nuovo Record shifters. Suntour Superbe Pro brakes, brake levers (non-aero version) and rear derailleur (rare multicolored silver/gunmetal version). Campagnolo Chorus Aero setapost, Selle Italia Turbo saddle in PERFECT condition. All components in incredibly nice shape, and all function extremely well together. Shimano 600 hubs to 700c Rigida AL 1320 hard anodized rims with almost NO wear. Shimano 6 speed freewheel. Cinelli 1A stem 100mm, Cinelli Giro D'Italia bars 40cm width. Blue Celo bar tape in perfect shape. Specialized Turbo gumwall tires with very little wear.

  1. WOW! I have the same bike, bought it from a guy on CL who had no interest in bikes, for $200, NOS condition, in it's original plastic! BB was not even chased. I have built it up into a ss townie, because that is my need right now, but looking at yours, someday I want to have it built up with dt shifters and old campy or dura ace. Sweet bike, really like the way you put it together.
